1. General Policy
All vehicles and items listed on the Public Auction platform are sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis. By participating in any auction, the buyer acknowledges and agrees that purchases are generally final and non-refundable, except under specific conditions outlined below.
2. Eligibility for Return / Refund
A buyer may request a return and refund only if:
- The vehicle/item is materially different from the description, images, or details presented during the auction.
- There are undisclosed major defects that significantly affect the value or usability of the vehicle/item.
- The information provided by the seller is proven to be false or misleading.
👉 All claims must be supported with valid evidence (inspection report, photos, videos, etc.).
3. Inspection Requirement
- Buyers are strongly advised to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding.
- Post-auction claims will only be considered if the issue could not reasonably be identified during inspection.
- Inspection must be conducted through approved inspection centers (e.g., RTA in UAE) where applicable.
4. Timeframe for Claims
- Any return/refund request must be submitted within 24 hours of auction completion or vehicle delivery (whichever comes first).
- Claims submitted after this period may not be considered.
5. Refund Process
If a return request is approved:
- The vehicle/item must be returned in the same condition as received.
- The advance payment (deposit) will be refunded to the buyer.
- The vehicle will be returned to the seller.
- The seller may be subject to penalties for misrepresentation.
6. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will NOT be provided in the following situations:
- The buyer changes their mind after winning the auction.
- The buyer fails to complete payment within the specified time.
- The buyer refuses the purchase without valid justification.
- The issue was clearly disclosed before the auction.
- Minor wear and tear consistent with used vehicles.
7. Buyer Default
- If the buyer withdraws without a valid reason:
- The security deposit (AED 2,000) and any advance payments will be forfeited.
- If the buyer fails to complete the transaction:
- The case may be escalated for legal action.
8. Seller Responsibility
- Sellers are required to provide accurate and complete information.
- Any failure to disclose major defects may result in:
- Refund to buyer
- Penalties or suspension from the platform
9. Dispute Resolution
- The auction platform will review disputes fairly based on available evidence.
- The platform’s decision shall be considered final and binding.
10. Processing Time
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days, depending on the payment method.
